What We Believe
One God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in love, holy and just.
Fully God and fully human, born of the virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, raised bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and coming again in glory. In Him alone we find salvation, forgiveness, and new life.
Sent by the Father and the Son to dwell within believers — to comfort, to convict, to empower, and to lead Christ's people into truth and holy living.
The Old and New Testaments are the inspired, authoritative Word of God — our final rule for faith and life.
One holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic Church, made up of all those who trust in Christ. The local church — gathered for worship, the sacraments, and life together — is God's chosen way of forming His people.
We look forward to the return of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the renewal of all things — a new heaven and a new earth where God will dwell with His people forever.
As Methodists in the Wesleyan tradition, we hold that God's grace meets us before we even know to look for it, that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and that the Christian life is a journey of growing in love for God and neighbour — what John Wesley called sanctification.
We celebrate two sacraments: Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
